For those who believe that lies, hypocrisy or deception (in any of its modes) have a place in the Krishna Consciousness: "If you are initiated as brāhmaṇa, you must act as brāhmaṇa. Truth, satyaṁ śamo damas titikṣā ārjava jñānaṁ vijñānam āstikyaṁ brahma-karma [Bg. 18.42]---all that. A brāhmaṇa must be true. This is the first task of a brāhmaṇa: be true. He will speak the truth even before an enemy. No one says the truth before an enemy, because he wants to hide. But the occupation of brāhmaṇa is volverseaz to see even before an enemy."
