To express humility before an atheist who has envy of śrī guru and of the vaiṣṇavas, before a demonic person like Rāvaṇa or before a pretencious brāhmaṇa, is not vaiṣṇava-sevā, nor is it tṛṇād api suncatā. If a person does that, he can never attain the ability to perform krtana, nor can he develop the taste for singing holy names.
