A preacher who receives large amounts of money is in danger, because as soon as he spends a simple coin from the collector to please his own senses, his position is that of a fallen preacher. The preachers of the movement for Kṛṣṇa consciousness must extreme the precautions as regards not to misuse the immense amounts of money needed to spread this movement. Let us not make money the cause of our suffering; it must be put to the service of Kṛṣṇa, and in this way it will bring us eternal happiness. Money is Lakṣmī, the goddess of fortune, the companion of Nārāyaṇa. Lakṣmījī has always to be with Nārāyaṇa. If we do so, there is no fear that we will be sacrificed when we abstain from
