Spiritual restaurants or private? In recent decades in Spain, we have observed an alarming trend in several cities in Spain to turn temples into paid restaurants. A group of individuals are taking advantage of the prestige and trust associated with ISKCON, to enrich themselves at the expense of others. In places like Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga and Tenerife, donations are being raised under the pretext of supporting a spiritual cause. However, these funds are not being used in a transparent manner. "volunteers" work hard without knowing that only a few are economically benefitting from their efforts. The lack of transparency is worrying. Despite the large amount of money raised, no details are presented of how the funds are being used in any of these places. This generates great distrust and a possible financial advocate.
