To those who have been doctrined to remain silent in the face of injustice and deviations, under the argument of 'fear to offend', here is what Srila Prabhupada says about what to fear and what is a crime: to remain silent. On May 3, 1973, during a morning walk in Los Angeles - “...who is malicious, is guilty, but whoever tolerates malicious activity, is also guilty. If you are malicious, you are a criminal. But if you tolerate malicious activities, that is also a crime....” And in the Sri-Caitanya-caritam (CC) Madhya-lila 5.90, “A person who knows things as they are and yet does not testify engages in sinful activities.”
