I have hundreds and thousands of servants to whom I don’t have to pay. That’s a spiritual relationship. They’re serving, not for a payment. What do I have? I’m a poor Hindu. What can I pay? But the servant does it for love, spiritual love. And I’m also teaching them without any pay. That’s spiritual. —Srila Prabhupada’s Class, Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.25.38, Bombay, December 7, 1974.
