Psychopaths integrated into society do not experience emotions such as guilt, shame, distress or anxiety. They do not suffer from emotional collapse or panic attacks and are unable to feel stress. Although they can simulate emotions such as fear, distress or guilt, they are not as good actors as sometimes thought. However, they have the ability to dramatize and take on a role in situations that benefit them in the long run. These emotional representations are false; they can convince others, but they do not reflect a true emotional connection.
