Shrila Prabhupada, as a rhetorical resource designed to win the confidence of his followers, who regard him as a perfect spiritual leader. Once this connection is established, he introduces criticism towards certain Prabhupada statements, which has the effect of relativizing his teachings. The strategy is based on the presentation of a false dicotomy: either he accepts everything without questioning, or he rejects all of Prabhupada's legacy. When he offers himself as a "middle path" between these extremes, he seeks to position himself as a balanced and reasonable thinker.
