In the name of God, some individuals believe themselves to be the hammer of God, justifying extreme and harmful actions. This phenomenon is not new and has manifested in various ways throughout history. A recent example in Spain is the Hare Krishna movement, which has been criticized by coercive and manipulative practices towards its followers. Some members of this movement, blinded by their "devotion", justify questionable actions such as violence and aggression to their brothers in the name of their faith. The line between devotion and manipulation becomes diffuse, and ignorance becomes a dangerous weapon. It is crucial to question and reflect on these dynamics to prevent ignorance and fanaticism from causing harm to individuals and communities. Consciousness, logic and self-criticism are fundamental to prevent exploitation in the name of faith.
