🤔 Difference between Guru and Ācārya 🙏 by Josh Wulf There is a difference between Guru and Ācārya. Something that many have not understood. First, they tried to rise to the position of Śrīla Prabhupāda. Now, they try to lower it to theirs. This is regrettable. Successors, so far, have demonstrated their qualification to be representatives. They don’t have enough spiritual stature by their own right. There may be those who have it, but this is something individual and personal, not institutional. Someone can go out and show it — as Śrīla Prabhupāda did — or they can stay in an institution and work within its structures. No institution can dictate who your guru is. Not who is “the guru”. Who is your guru.
