How to appreciate other spiritual traditions If one goes to the place of worship of another person, one should think: “These people are worshiping my Lord, but in a different way. Because of my different spiritual formation, I cannot fully understand this worship system. However, through this experience, I can deepen my appreciation for my own worship system. The Lord is only one, not two. I offer respect for the way I see here, and I pray to the Lord in this new way to increase my love for the Lord in its usual form. ” Those who do not follow this procedure, but who criticize other worship systems and show hatred, violence and envy, are fools.
