️Honoring the personal collective will not be legitimate ️Calendar Vaṣṇava: when imitation dilutes tradition In the Vaṣṇava calendar we celebrate personalities such as Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, the Six Goswamis—examples of purity, renunciation, and genuine and titanic contribution to tradition. Nevertheless, in recent decades we observe a troubling political trend: including controversial figures artificially matching them to true historical pillars of Vaṣṇavism but for reasons of institutional power or personal interests. This practice reminds us of the phenomenon of Vaṣṇa, condemned by our predecessors: the tendency to take the highest of devotion and imitate it superficially,
