Krishna reveals Himself to whom He chooses Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad (3.2.3) and Kaṭha Upaniṣad (1.2.23): nāyam ātmā pravacanena labhyo na medhayā na bahunā śrutena yam evaiṣa vṛṇute tena labhyas tasyaiṣa ātmā vivṛṇute tanūṁ svām “The Supreme Lord is not reached by expert explanations, with wide intelligence, not even with attentive ears. He is reached only by whom He Himself chooses.
