This report analyzes more than 450 verses of the Bhagavad-gītā translated into Spanish after 1977, discovering 259 relevant doctrinal changes. Far from simple corrections, the study notes systematic alterations that affect central concepts such as spiritual access, the relationship with the divine, the authority of the teachers and the traditional devotional language. Among the most critical doctrinal changes is the removal of direct access to Krishna, now only possible through institutional mediation. In addition, personal titles (“Mr. Bhagavad_gita”) are replaced by other formal concepts (“Supreme Personality of God”), and holy terms are originated by neutral editorial verses (“all consumption is altered” by the original text “Banibolan”).
