In 1972, I had the opportunity to stay for three days in the Gaudiya Math of Allahabad. Srila Prabhupada had helped establish this center in the 1930s. Srila Prabhupada had lived with her family in Allahabad for almost 13 years, where she had her Ayurveda store. I attended morning and evening programs in her temple. I was surprised that these residents would sing the same Mahamantra songs as we did in the temple of ISKCON in the 2nd Ave. in 1966. Srila Prabhupada had introduced a distinct morning Mahatma and a different evening melodies, which were sung in her Gaudiya Math of Allahabad.
