Dhanurdhara found responsible for child abuse by ISKCON itself Summary of panel findings: "The panel determined that Dhanurdhara Maharaja was responsible for negligence in child care in the Vrndavana gurukula, including deficiencies in: - Food - Clothes - Accommodation - Emotional Well-being Furthermore it was found that it applied bodily punishment and generated an environment of intimidation and fear, negatively affecting the psychological well-being of children. Though it recognized its mistakes and showed remorse, the panel noted that its actions violated Srila Prabhupada's teachings on child care and education, which and are not justified by the cultural or organizational circumstances of the time.
