Ravanari Prabhu (ACBSP) father and pioneer of preaching to Arabs. The first and greatest preacher of vaisnavism for Arab countries in history was His Grace Ravanari Prabhu (1945-2018). He was the first Arab vaisnava; glorious disciple of Srila Prabhupada. He was born in Ramallah, Palestine; he grew up in Lebanese refugee camps, and joined ISKCON in Germany in 1973. He received blessings and direct instructions from Srila Prabhupada to preach in Arab countries. We remember Ravanari Prabhu as a hero due to his tremendous effort preaching to Arabs since the 70s, despite suffering torture in prisons of Arab countries.
