“In fact, sannyāsa, or renunciation to material life and home, requires a complete absorption in the consciousness of Kṛṣṇa and an immersion in being. One does not take sannyāsa, freedom of family responsibility in the order of renunciation of life, to form another family or create a shameful, embarrassing fraudulent deceit in the name of sannyāsa. The occupation of sannyāsī is not to become the owner of many things and accumulate money from the innocent public. A sannyāsa is proud that he is always thinking of Kṛṣṇa within himself.” (Prabhupada purport SB 3.24.34)
