Within ISKCON there is a worrying trend where the organization sometimes eclipses the central spiritual objective: Krishna.This phenomenon is due to institutional alienation and impersonality, where devotion focuses more on the institution or its leaders than on personal love towards Krishna. Institution as Deity In certain dysfunctional dynamics, ISKCON becomes the object of faith, usurping the divine position as alienation. The devotees can see the organization as an omnipotent place where devotion moves Krishna as the authentic master's spirit.
