The Chaitanya Bhagavat, Adi, chapter 11 says: "Mr. Chaitanya said to his spiritual teacher, Iswara Puri: "Whoever dares to edit or change the words of a pure Vaisnava is a sinner and a criminal." NOTE: Sinser, criminal! ! Reminds us of someone we know? That's not Ad Hominem, it's approaching and guarding ourselves from a very offensive behavior.
