What is a desire tree? A desire tree, or kalpa-vṛkṣa, is a spiritual entity that is found in the spiritual world, in Kṛṣṇaloka, and is characterized by its ability to fulfill any desire. Unlike the material trees that produce specific fruits, the desire tree can provide anything, symbolizing the unlimited potential of realization. The pārijāta tree, another form of desire tree, was brought by Kṛṣṇa to please His queen Satyabhāmā and is also associated with the heavenly kingdom of Indra. The devotees, compared to bees, are drawn to the lotus feet of the Lord, which are compared to these trees that desire fulfillment.
