“Therefore, if we want a happy and quiet political situation, we must select leaders who eat Kṛṣṇa prasāda. Otherwise, leaders will eat meat and drink wine, and so they will be asaṁskṛtāḥ, not retired, and kriyā-hīnāḥ, lacking spiritual behavior. In other words, they will be milkshots and yavanas, men who are impure in their habits. Through taxes, such men exploit citizens as much as possible, and thus devour citizens of the state instead of benefiting them. Therefore, we cannot expect a government to be efficient if it is headed by such milkshots and impure yavanas.” (Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Antya-lila, 1.92 meaning by Srila Prabhupada).
