One of the five thousand serious changes to the Bhagavad-gītā Dwarka Prabhu is the official “mayayā apahṛta-jñāna” of the Temple of Barcelona—a scholar whom māyā has stolen wisdom. Read and comment on a false translation... and it doesn’t matter. Original text Bg. 18.78 (which really translates it): “It can be a confidential path of knowledge, just like religious rituals are confidential, but still one remains occupied with meditation and cultivation of knowledge.” That is to say: following rules or practicing rituals can seem profound or secret, but you still think and strive. Manipulated translation: “These rituals and cultivation of knowledge are the most...” (as if they were more confidential or higher scale). What does this change? The original text
