Here, of course, I feel very pleased that the boys and girls who have come to me have immediately accepted Kṛṣṇa. But in India, although the Bhagavad-gītā is the script of the Hindus and the Indians, yet it is not so easy for them to accept the conscience of Kṛṣṇa. Because their minds are confused. Someone says: “You must worship the goddess Kālī.” Another says: “You must worship the Lord Śiva.” Another says: “You must worship the Lord Rāmacandra.” So, mostly, in the temples—that is, temples that are there mainly to earn money—they have all kinds of deities. In one place is the Lord Śiva, in another place is the goddess Kālī, in another is the Lord Rāmacandra, and so on...
