"A devotee can worship Kṛṣṇa anywhere, under a tree. Because Kṛṣṇa is in the heart of everyone. Īśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛd-deśe 'rjuna tiṣṭhati [Bg. 18.61]. So if under a tree they think of Kṛṣṇa and sing Hare Kṛṣṇa, that's enough. Kṛṣṇa doesn't require great paraphernalia. He just wants you to be a sincere devotee. That's all. And that devotional service can be performed in any condition. Ahaituky apratihatā. It can't be controlled by material circumstances. That's the process of Kṛṣṇa consciousness." (Prabhupada Conference in Honolulu, May 25, 1975)
