According to Vedic civilization, the perfection of life consists in understanding our relationship with Kṛṣṇa, with God. By the Bhagavad-gītā, accepted by all the authorities of transcendental science as the basis of all Vedic knowledge, we understand that not only humans, but also all other living entities, are integral parts of God. The function of the parts is to serve the whole, just as the function of the legs, hands, fingers and ears is to serve the whole body.
