This is a dangerous illusion. Srila Prabhupada clearly explains that the process of transcending the Southern modes is gradual: "For the beginner in the devotional service to the Lord, therefore, it is advised to observe the regulatory principles, and gradually, as one becomes expert and realized, it can get rid of the rules and regulations and reach the spontaneous platform of loving service."
