🔥 Diksha vs. Siksha — The confusion that is destroying spiritual life 🔥 Many devotees today are confused because they equate diksha with siksha. They are equal in importance, but radically different in nature. Diksha is a sacred covenant. The guru assumes the personal responsibility for your liberation. The standard is extraordinarily high: it must be substantially accomplished, not just to be scholar or to be institutionally named. Siksha is teaching. You can receive it from anyone who faithfully transmits the siddhanta, even if it is humanly imperfect. The problem? Many supposed "gurus" work as sikshaus in the best of cases — give classes, repeat it — but they accept the position, worship and delivery that only a genuine diksha guru
