He lost money in lawsuits (millions of pesetas) for poorly management and even health related, a mataji died from bad water management in the farm while he was president.
In Barcelona around 1987, unable to hide his political ambitions and his disproportionate desire of pratistha (adoration), you asked me for political support to obtain the position of president at the Barcelona temple.
What to speak of the dozens of mistakes and self-centered policy that led the Spanish yatra to the position it is today.
You could hear all these years, "there is nobody to take on this responsibility or that other". No. The reality is it had to be a yes man of Yadunandana Swami to do the dirty work, but in case anything important arises, he had to telephone the boss.
From his many years in power, he has become very expert in politics. Now the excuse is that "he has nothing to do with management". The reality is that he is more involved than ever, this time perfecting the art of power without responsibility, otherwise known as tyranny.
He just had to go behind the curtain, as he experienced many problems when he was managing in the open.
Yadunandana Swami believes that institutional hierarchy automatically provides spiritual merit.
It is the belief that bhakta is less than initiated, less than brahmana, less than temple commander, less than temple president, less than sannyasi, less than GBC. And more power you yield, more advanced you are.
His efforts are more into appearing as an advanced devotee than to be really one.
Yadunandana Swami holds a strong opposition to madhyama adhikaris (sincere preachers), viewing them as a threat and inferior to his self-assigned pseudo-paramahamsa status. Every nice manager had to resign due to his scams.
This is the case with me. To clarify, madhyama adhikari is also someone that preaches, a preacher because he has to differentiate between people to preach, it is not a very elevated position at all.
He has always had a contempt for me, never letting me participate in any activity in the yatra. In fact, he arranged for my leaving the Tenerife temple, made from scratch by me, just because it was being successful and he had other plans for it.
He used my relationship with my wife (because we were not legally married), as an excuse.
He could arrange for some other solution, but he took the opportunity to get me out.
But, his spiritual master, as a sannyasi was caught having illicit sex for a long period, still he is a pure devotee. And he is capable of make any excuse to protect his status as disciple and consequently in the society.
Yadunandana Swami uses defensive tactics, including attacks on those questioning his position in the name of the pseudo-spiritual institution.
Occasionally, Yadunandana Swami shows classical symptoms of a kanishta adhikari, including manifestations of anger and greed (not in public of course, he is an accomplished politician).
Some years ago, at New Vrajamandala's temple room, we were alone, and I was politely questioning some policies, and he retorted with great wrath: Do you know that I can throw the book at you? (punish).

When a problem occurred with me in Málaga, he always appeared to me polite and smiling while arranging the police to come and seize me.

Yadunandana Swami is influenced and implements with fruition demonic policies such as "money is the honey", "the goal sanctifies the means.", "vaccines for all" or "interfaith".
You could see that very openly in the pandemic. And the interfaith trips are one of the major "accomplishments" in the yatra.
Yadunandana Swami appears learned but uses scriptures in an egocentric sense, seeking personal name, fame, and glory.
You can listen to a class and there is no substance, no realization coming into your heart. That is because his deceptive and politician tactics.
In Manah siksha, 6, it is said that one can follow all the principles and be even very renounced externally, but if you are a deceiver and use tactics of untruth, your spiritual advancement stops.
That is the explanation as to why a person can be many years chanting, and no advancement is produced.

Once in a trip from Barcelona to Madrid, I questioned him about some philosophical themes, and it was obvious to me that he has mayavadi influences. One example I remember is that he said that book distributors and devotees with a temple service were on the same level. This is a very common mistake, describing things from the point of view of God.
Our philosophy is "simultaneously one and different". A preacher comes back to the temple, humbled by the material world and appreciates the temple devotees. The temple devotees praise the preacher for his effort on facing the material world.
Such philosophical intricacies are very much out of the reach of the "swami" at that time (around 1990) with several years as brahmacari, and I doubt he understands them now.
Yadunandana Swami's disciples or those under his kanishta adhikari influence are deemed unfortunate, leading lives filled with gloom and devoid of happiness.
